A CULTURAL TOUR IN COLLABORATION WITH SHIRUQ

ON THE OCCASION OF THE SAMI EASTER FESTIVAL, LET’S TRAVEL TOGETHER THROUGH THE PLACES AND PEOPLE YOU’LL FIND IN THE HIDDEN PLACES THAT HAVE BEEN AND STILL ARE “HOME.”
IN COLLABORATION WITH SHIRUQ VIAGGI CULTURALI.

TOUR DEPARTURE ON APRIL 14, 2025, FOR 8 DAYS.
BOOKINGS NOW OPEN.

This is not a photography trip. It is a journey of understanding, discovery, and above all, connection.
Together with Shiruq Travel and, most importantly, with the people I have met and whose stories I have told, I wanted to create an opportunity for exchange. It is an invitation for those who choose to join us to discover a world, a culture, a tradition, and a modernity that is so close to us yet seems distant.
The Arctic and its timeless inhabitants, the Sami. An ancient and modern people who, during the Sami Easter Festival, share their stories and welcome those eager to learn about their way of life.
Let us travel together through the places and people featured in
The Hidden — places that have been and continue to be “home.”

ABOUT THE TOUR

Northern Norway offers a unique travel experience where untamed nature blends seamlessly with the fascinating culture of the Sami, the indigenous people who have inhabited these lands for centuries. Off the beaten tourist paths, the county of Finnmark invites you to discover a world of ancient traditions, unspoiled landscapes, and the enchanting magic of the Northern Lights.
Attending the Sami Easter Festival means immersing yourself in history and exploring the Sami’s deep connection with the Arctic tundra’s nature.
This tour is made extraordinary by the presence of Valentina Tamborra, photographer, journalist, and author of the publication The Hidden, a reportage dedicated to the Sami people. Having worked closely with them for four years, Valentina will create genuine moments of connection, stepping away from her role as a photographer to embrace that of a true cultural mediator.
